The Great Masquerader

  • Is your energy less than it should be?
  • Have you been taking supplements and not noticing any improvement?
  • Do you have a lot of health concerns that seem totally unrelated?
  • Are you struggling to feel well?
  • Do medical tests fail to pinpoint the problem?

These are all possible scenarios when you have an undetected and improperly treated problem known as Candidiasis.

What the heck is Candidiasis?

You might have heard of Candida in the context of a vaginal yeast infection but the Candida I am talking about is the one that changes from a yeast to a fungus within your intestinal tract and spreads like a wild fire.

Everyone has this yeast, called Candida, living in harmony with other microbes within their intestines.  We have “good bacteria” that keep these Candida yeast in check.  In small populations Candida yeast isn’t harmful but when allowed to overgrow they can become anywhere from annoying to deadly.

Annoying would be symptoms such as intestinal gas, bloating, abdominal fullness, constipation, diarrhea, or both alternating, heartburn, acid reflux, gastritis, trouble sleeping, trouble thinking clearly, allergies, skin problems, hormonal imbalances, poor memory, poor concentration and fatigue.

Deadly is exactly what it sounds like.  I was interviewed for a local paper and this is the story they printed about one of my clients.

Jane’s Inspiring Story

“I know when an attack is starting because I’m overcome by a freezing cold and feeling of dread.  Then my whole system feels like it is squeezing itself out and I end up heaped on the bathroom floor.  My husband has to help me back to the couch where I lie waiting for the dizziness and wooziness to pass.  I sweat but shake at the same time because my bones feel like ice but my skin is hot.  After about 20 long torturous minutes the attack finally subsides, only to return again and again every 2-3 hours.  I never knew I could feel this bad.”

Jane suffered from these attacks for a month.  Then through exploratory surgery, a massive abdominal cyst was discovered and removed.  After the operation, Jane was better but still not well. Any food, even a sip of water could bring on another attack.  Jane questioned her lack of full recovery and was repeatedly told “things need to settle down, just wait and it will pass.”

Jane did wait.  She suffered for another 5 months.  The only food she could keep inside her was potato gruel.  She’d lost 67 pounds, was weak and still very sick.  Finally believing that there had to be something else she could do, she sought my help.

To make a long story short, I guided her through my Candida program.  It took some time, but Jane did make a full recovery.  Although she never wants to repeat her experience, Jane realizes it gave her two valuable things: “my health and power over my own life.  Never again will I blindly submit myself to drugs, invasive testing or surgery or wait around for someone to make and keep me well.  I have both a responsibility and a right to explore all options in health care and to decide what is best for my body.”

It happens all the time, we just don’t hear about it!

After hearing this story, one of the participants at my “For Women Only” workshop spoke up.  “I work in an emergency ward, and Jane is a very lucky woman.  I have seen people die from a severe Candida infestation.”

Obviously I have known about Candidiasis for over 30 years but if it is this serious why don’t more people know about it?

The answer is simple.

Most people are like Jane and they rely on their medical doctors for nutritional evaluations of their health. Although there is no argument that conventional medicine is the clear choice when it comes to the treatment of broken bones, lacerations, severed tendons, heart attacks and organ failures. It is not the clear choice for health issues that are best treated with nutrition.

In medical school, doctors are not taught how to diagnose an intestinal overgrowth of Candida.  So unless you have a holistically minded physician, you won’t get a medical diagnosis if you are suffering with an overgrowth of intestinal Candida.

But even people that know about Candida can still be suffering.  I counsel women all the time that have been struggling to feel better for years.  These women have sought out alternative modalities for healing, and have spent hundreds to thousands of dollars in hope of reclaiming their health. And, what do these women have in common?  Undiagnosed and/or improperly treated Candidiasis.

Top 7 Things You Need To Know About Candidiasis

1. Even though there are no scientific studies supporting the existence of this condition, even though there are no medical tests to confirm your condition, even if your physician does not believe that there is such a condition, you can absolutely be suffering with a Candidiasis.

2.  If you have Candidiasis, there is no exercise you can do, no diet that you can follow; no supplement that you can take that will restore you to normal health.  You will waste all your time, effort and money if you try.  YOU MUST USE A SIX PRONGED SYSTEM FOR TREATING CANDIDIASIS.  ONLY THEN CAN YOU FULLY RECOVER AND FEEL WONDERFUL AGAIN.

3. Candida overgrowth is tenacious. It won’t leave without a fight.  Many people have tried very restricted diets in hopes of choking off the Candida’s food supply and killing it.  This might provide temporary relief but soon after this person returns to normal eating; their health starts to take a downturn again.

4. You may have thought you had properly treated your Candidiasis condition because you followed some program that helped you feel somewhat better.  Then months later when new problems started arising, believing that you had already treated yourself for Candida you began the search for new solutions.  Don’t let Candida trick you, it can come back if not treated with the 6-pronged system.

5. As Candida multiplies, its tentacles latch onto your intestinal wall boring small holes in the lining which then allows small food particles into your bloodstream.  Those suffering with multiple food allergies, usually have developed those allergies because of an overgrowth of Candida.

6.  You may have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, acid reflux, depression, food allergies and more BUT Candidiasis may be the root cause of these problems.

7. The people that have been lucky enough to discover their Candida overgrowth and have actually completed the 6 pronged anti-candida program, now have their lives back.

Inspiring Stories

Despite taking hundreds of dollars’ worth of supplements every month for over 12 years, I was constantly under the weather — nothing very serious but, far too often, I was down with something. It turns out that I have been battling a major Candida infestation for at least 15 years — perhaps longer. It was the result of being on antibiotics for an extended period of time trying to deal with a bacterial infection. Well, I have been treating myself for Candida for less than a month and I am now in the best health I have been in since December 1991.

Here’s what has changed for me: the general soreness all over the top of my head (scalp) is gone; my acid reflux is gone; my night sweats are gone; my digestion is vastly improved; and, the skin itch that I have had for the last 12 years and take medication daily to keep under control, is about 50% of what it was and is improving with each day.” Lee P, Victoria, BC

6 Weeks later I have so much more energy.  I seem to be focusing much better on everything, and certainly don’t crave sweets like I did.  It is wonderful to feel so much better”.  Deb C, Victoria, BC

I am not even finished the Candida program and already my energy level has significantly improved, my moods have evened out, I am sleeping well, my facial blemishes have cleared, my eyes are brighter and my pants are really loosening up!” Jennifer V, Vancouver, BC
